On Friday, 13 May 2022, between 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on the 5th floor of building V1, a departmental specialisation-selection open day is going to be hold, where all interested parties are welcome.

An interactive lab presentation will be held, where you will be able to learn more about our topics and projects, as well as our own hardware and software developments and results, in a free and informal discussion with our lecturers, students and doctoral candidates.

Programme:

• 2:00 pm  - 2:30 p.m. Opening by the Head of Department in room V1 501

• 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m An introduction by Bosh and Silicon Laboratiories

• 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 pm Open labs, demonstrations, informal discussions with our teachers and students. In addition, Silicon Laboratiories will be holding their own measurement demonstrations.

• V1/105 and V1/211: Space-technology laboratory

• V1/C wing antenna measurement laboratory: Antennaes, EMC

• At 3:10 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. gathering in front of V1/529 room. ABoth teams are going to take a 30 minute long visit in the antenna measurement laboratory.

• V1/213: Microwave and optical demonstration with the contribution of Silicon Laboratories

• V1/215: Software-radio technologies in practice

• V1/519: Laboratory of electromagnetic-field simulation and design - free and informal discussion with the lecturels and studens about the current research topics and industrial connections

• V1/528: Radar and remote sensing; BME Pocket sattelites

• V1/501: Traffic monitoring radar system demonstration

• V1/5. floor: Mikro-Doppler radar demonstration
